the wonders of irish pubs

i met 3 young irish men while i was waiting for my tram to the city today. they just came out of this pub at 11am and were bouncing around chapel st and they invited me to join them! i would have! they seemed to be happing so much fun. since i said i couldn't, they were kind enough to stay and have a chat with me for a little bit until they hoped off down the street again. i love irish men now..their accent is so entreating. lovely bunch of lads. :)

lost and found

this weekend = 50% CLEANING + 50% EATING MEAT = 100% GREEK EASTER

for all the greek's around earth, this weekend is greek easter. since my family and i are all greek, we have no choice but to celebrate this joyous event. that means cleaning for 48 hours straight and then for my reward i get to eat a whole lot of meat (which doesn't help when one is trying to convert into vegetarianism) and bread for the next 24 hours. and don't think of leaving food on my plate...nooo..

but back to the cleaning...while going through my papers and folders, i have managed to find all my little artworks and paintings i did....here they are!

"leaves"

"rose"

my year 7 textiles project!
felting aka "stabbing fluffy stuff into white boring stuff". everyone had to do felt a picture off the topic "HAPPY" mine was running through grass...it was a nice attempt.. :)

haha...

stars and stickers!
i found my primary school art piece! i think i've used a pretty good use of purple..

i like oranges. do you?

hey there friend,
don't be fooled by this fruity little title because "i like oranges. do you?" is not just about oranges, this is about melbourne and all its little hidden wonders. Also i'm kinda using this as a sort of online diary, my little online organizer if you may.

organisation isn't a word in my vocab - but as they say the first step to learning is realising you have a problem. and now i do. i'm not going to say much apart from i'm rania and in school..yes school. i'm a tall person (180cm in fact) with my eyes set on adventure. travel is what tickles my fancy and i eat a lot (and i mean A LOT) of oranges. i love the smell of gigs (yes they do smell), fresh grass and cigarettes (though i have never smoked and NEVER WILL!). i have my headphones in my ears for approx 8-10 hours a day considering i sleep for 8 and am at school and shower and do other things that may not permit anti-social behaviour. you my think i'm super freaky by now but let me freak you out some more - i have a picture of my guitar in my wallet..haha..i'm not that freaky, but i do love my guitar and guitarists and everything about guitar-ing. i have a little bag where i carry my sketch book and pencils and my camera. i make clothes - mine, yours whoever's, i just make them (i might have made that top your wearing now...you never know) here on this very blog i just created i may possibly/casually upload my art, sketches, designs, anything really (i have a scanner now so i'm excited to use it!).
enjoy :)
